Was born in France. He has worked at the Festival of Aix-en-Provence, Choregies d'Oranges, the Festival of Music of Strasbourg, Opera Comique, Théâtre du Chatelet, the Festival of Athens and the Opera of Monte Carlo. He has assisted Nicolas Joel in numerous of his productions and revived his productions of Yevgeni Oniegin (Tchaikovsky), Madama Butterfly, La Rondine, Tosca (Puccini), Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg (Wagner), Otello (Verdi), Manon (Massenet) and others, in Trieste, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lisbon and Seville. He directed Il trittico (Puccini) and Noah's Ark (Britten) at the Theatre de Capitole.
