Carlo Centolavigna was born in Italy. He has designed numerous productions including Lulu (Berg), I Puritani (Bellini), Turandot (Puccini), La traviata, Simon Boccanegra (Verdi), Carmen (Bizet), L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Andrea Chenier (Giordano), Francesca de Rimini (Zandonai), Otello (Rossini), Mefistofele (Boito) and many others at the opera houses of Florence, Bologna, Zurich, Pesaro, Palermo and La Scala in Milan.
