Vsevolod Grivnov, tenor
Vsevolod Grivnov, tenor, was born in Russia. His operatic repertoire includes Alfredo in La traviata, Riccardo in Un ballo in maschera, Radames in Aida (Verdi), Lensky in Yevgeni Onegin, Andrei in Mazeppa (Tchaikovsky), Don Antonio in Betrothal in a Monastery (Prokofiev), the Prince in Rusalka by Dvorak and in Rusalka by Dargomizhsky, Loge in Das Rheingold (Wagner), Don Jose in Carmen (Bizet), Dmitry in Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky) and many other roles. His vast concert repertoire includes works by Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Rossini, Stravinsky, Mendelssohn, Beethoven and other composers. He performs at La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco,
Florence, Naples, Lisbon, Valencia, Nice, Amsterdam, Cagliari, Houston, Brussels, Bologna and many others.
At the Israeli Opera he performed Sergei in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Shostakovich).
