Lekhina Ekaterina, soprano
was born in Russia. She made her international opera debut in 2007 as Madame Herz in Der Schauspieldirektor (Mozart) at the Vienna Volksoper. She has performed Olympia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach) at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Vienna Volksoper and the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflote (Mozart) in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf and Hanover and the title role in Zaïde (Mozart) at the Aix-en-Provence festival. Recent appearances include L’Amour de Loin (Saariaho), Brigitta in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky) and others. At the Israeli Opera she sang Olympia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach).
