    Gianluca Buratto was born in Italy. His repertoire includes Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro, Sarastro in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Timur in Turandot, Colline in La boheme (Puccini), Seneca in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi), Hunding in Die Walkure (Wagner), Nonancourt in Il cappello di paglia di Firenze (Rota), Argante in Rinaldo (Handel), Giorgio in I puritani (Bellini) and others. He performs at La Scala in Milan and in the opera houses of Venice, Rome, Valencia, Salzburg, Nancy, Barcelona, Innsbruck, Naples, Bari, Florence, Amsterdam, Bogota, Macerata, Liege, Montpellier and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
