Bruno Poet was born in the United Kingdom. He has designed lighting for many opera productions including La donna del lago (Rossini), Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Carmen (Bizet), the Cunning Little vixen (Janacek), Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Rinaldo (Handel), I due Foscari (Verdi), I puritani (Bellini) and many others. He has worked for the opera houses of Valencia, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Chicago, Berlin, Oslo, Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Geneva, Athens as well as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the English National Opera.
