Es Devlin was born in Great Britain. She has designed numerous opera productions including Carmen (Bizet), Parsifal (Wagner), The Cunning Little Vixen (Janacek), I puritani (Bellini), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), La clemenza di Tito (Mozart), Roberto Devereux (Donizetti), Salome (R. Strauss), Les Troyens, Beatrice et Benedict (Berlioz) and many others as well as theatre productions in London’s West End and Broadway. She has worked at the opera houses of Vienna, Barcelona, Hamburg, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and others.
