Celine Byrne was born in Ireland. Her repertoire includes Mimi in La boheme, the title role in Madama Butterfly, Liu in Turandot (Puccini), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), the title role in Rusalka (Dvorak), Marietta in Die tote Stadt (Korngold), Agathe in Der Freischutz (Weber) and many other roles. She performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in the opera houses of Moscow, Scottish Opera, Dusseldorf, Malmo and others.
