Lemalou Jonathan, bass
Jonathan Lemalou is a New Zealand born Samoan. His repertoire includes Nourabad in Les Pecheurs de Perles (Bizet), Papageno in Die Zauberflote, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Don Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), the title role in Saul, Argante in Rinaldo (Handel), Colline in La boheme (Puccini), Collatinus in The Rape of Lucretia (Britten), Rocco in Fidelio (Beethoven), the title role in Falstaff (Verdi), Porgy in Porgy and Bess (Gershwin) and many other roles. He performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London and in the opera houses of Glyndebourne, Munich, Seattle, Hamburg, Vienna, Lyon, Rotterdam, Toulouse, Frankfurt, English National Opera and others.
