    Naama Nazarathy Gordon was born in Israel. She graduated with a double B.A and an M.A in orchestral conducting and in voice at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. In 2002, she founded the Thalamus Quartet, a vocal quartet specializing in multi-genre a cappella singing. She has performed as a singer with the quartet in many concerts all over Israel. As a composer a few of her compositions were premiered at the Israel Festival, in collaboration with the Revolution Orchestra and at the Jerusalem Music Center. She took part as a composer and actress in the play Her Story, a Jerusalem Theatre Company production directed by Gabriella Lev. She conducted the Hallel Choir, the Singale Ensemble, the Midreshet Emunah v'Omanut Choir, Oratorio Singers Choir, the Hebrew Union College Student Choir and the Brass and Reed Band Ensemble of the Jerusalem Music Academy high school. Since 2014, she has been the conductor and music director of Capellatte Choir of Oratorio and since 2014-15 she serves as chief conductor and music director of the Grand Oratorio Choir of Jerusalem.
