Monica Meira Vasques  was born in Brazil. She was the artistic director and conductor of the Bach Society of Sao Paolo. She has conducted the Sao Paolo Symphony Orchestra, the Ribeirao Preto Symphony Orchestra, the Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ostfildern Symphony Orchestra, the Academy Orchestra Stuttgart, the German-Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Laudamus Te Orchestra Stuttgart and many other orchestral ensembles and choirs in Brazil, Germany and other countries. She has founded several choral groups and in 2007 founded the Laudamus Te choir and orchestra in Stuttgart.
