Rozzen Shir, soprano
Shir Rozzen, soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Her operatic repertoire includes Mimi in LA boheme (Puccini), Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Miss Wingrave in Owen Wingrave (Britten), Marta in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky) and many other roles. She performed in many concerts and opera productions in Philadelphia as well as in the USA and Canada. Shir Rozzen is a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire includes the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, the First Lady in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Tisbe in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and other roles.
