Oksana Volkova was born in Belarussia. Her repertoire includes the leading role in Carmen (Bizet), Konchakovna in Prince Igor (Borodin), Charlotte in Werther (Massenet), Marfa in Khovanshchina (Mussorgsky), Laura in La gioconda (Ponchielli), Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Polina in Pique Dame, Olga in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many others. She performs at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, La Scala in Milan, the Bolshoi in Moscow as well as the opera houses of Munich, Salzburg, Beijing, Japan, Maribor and others.
