Fassini Alberto, director
Alberto Fassini was born in Italy. He began his career working with Visconti. He has directed numerous opera and theatre productions including Andrea Chenier (Giordano), Attila, Il trovatore, Don Carlo, Aida, Un ballo in maschera, Otello (Verdi), Medea (Cherubini), Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Thais, Werther (Massenet), Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Adriana Lecouvreur (Cilea), Pique Dame (Tchaikovsky), Agrippina (Handel), Romeo et Juliette (Gounod) and many other productions. He has worked regularly with all Italian opera houses including Rome, Venice, Turin, Florence, Palermo, Parma, Catania, Genova, Naples, Parma, Cagliari, Trieste, as well as in Seville, Tokyo, Bilbao and many others. He died in 2005.
