Weiss Yoav, baritone
Yoav Weiss, baritone, was born in Israel. He began his career as an oboe player and was a member of the Young Musicians program at the Jerusalem Music Centre. His vocal repertoire includes the role of Abram in Agar et Ismaele (Scarlatti), Messiah, Israel in Egypt (Handel), The Fairy Queen (Purcell), Petite Messe Sollenele (Rossini), the Mozart and the Faure requiems and other works. Yoav Weiss was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where his repertoire included Papageno in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Dandini in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and other roles.
