Elisabetta Acella, choreographer, was born in Italy. She studied with the ballet company of the opera in Turin and then became a dancer in leading Italian dance companies in Turin, Genova, Venice and Milan. She has worked as a stage manager and then as an  assistant director and as a choreographer with leading directors such as Savary, Pelly and Grinda in opera houses all over the world including Paris, Florence, Palermo, Turin, Seville, Valencia, Monte Carlo and others. This is her first work for the Israeli Opera.
