Was born in Italy. He worked as head of the lighting team at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Among the many opera productions he has lit are La bohème, Madama Butterfly (Puccini), La traviata, Otello (Verdi), Carmen (Bizet), L'italiana in Algeri (Rossini), Die Zauberflöte (Mozart) at Vicenze, Treviso, Busseto, Lisbon, Parma and more. He also designed lighting for many dance productions at Teatro alla Scala and all over the world.
