    Yacobi Nofar, soprano


    Nofar Yacobi, soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University. Her opera repertoire includes Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss),Oscar in Un ballo in maschera, Gilda in Rigoletto (verdi), Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart) and others. Her concert repertoire includes Les Noces (Stravinsky), Bachianas Brasileiras (Villa-Lobos),Te Deum (Dvorak), Seven Early Songs (Berg), Exultate, Jubilate (Mozart) and others.. She performed in many concerts in a wide operatic and concert repertoire in Israel as well as in Toronto, Calgeri, Orvieto and others. She received the AICF and the Buchman-Mehta School of Music scholarships. Nofar Yacobi was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included the Queen of the Night and Papagena in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), The Sand and the Dew fairies in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Suor Genovieffa and Suor Osmina in Suor Angelica (Puccini) and other roles.
