Lotte de Beer was born in the Netherlands. She directed many operas including Le nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Salome (R. Strauss), Manon (Massenet), Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), La boheme (Puccini), Rusalka (Dvorak), Boulevard Solitude (Henze) and many contemporary operas including The Arab Princess (Arriega), Waiting for Ms. Monroe (De Raaff) and others. She is working at the opera houses of Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Essen, Tokyo, Leipzig and others.
