Eric Chevalier, set designer, was born in France. He has designed numerous operas including Giasone (Cavalli), Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner), Don Carlo, La traviata, Rigoletto (Verdi), La Gioconda (Ponchielli), Die Zauberflote (Mozart) and many others. He has worked at the opera houses of Seoul, Metz, Innsbruck, Paris, Liege, Zagreb, Nice, Toulon, Reims, Marseille, Athens and many others. At the Israeli Opera he designed Don Carlo (Verdi).
