Siwek Rafal, bass
Rafal Siwek was born in Poland. His repertoire includes most of Verdi’s bass roles including Filippo II in Don Carlo, Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra, Silva in Ernani, Wurm in Luisa Miller, Ramfis in Aida, the title role in Attila and many others, as well as Sarastro in Die Zauberflote, the Commendatore in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Timur in Turandot, Colline in La boheme (Puccini), Hunding in Die Walkure, King Mark in Tristan und Isolde, Fafner in Siegfried (Wagner), Gremin in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many other roles. He appears in La Scala in Milan, the Arena di Verona and at the opera houses of Munich, Warsaw, Turin, Moscow, Catania, Valencia, Berlin, Nice, Rome, Hamburg, Zurich, Tokyo and others.
