Sergei Murzaev, baritone, was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Iago in Otello, Amonasro in Aida, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, the title role in Macbeth, in Rigoletto, in Nabucco and in Simon Boccanegra, Germont in La traviata (Verdi), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Gerard in Andrea Chenier (Giordano), the title role in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many more. He performs in La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Arena di Verona and the opera houses of Paris, Toulouse, Berlin, Rome, Venice, Palermo, Genova, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Seville, Liege and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
