Sebastian Catana, baritone, was born in Romania. His repertoire includes the title role in Rigoletto, Nabucco, Macbeth, Falstaff, Francesco Foscari in I due Foscari, Seid in Il Corsaro, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Amonasro in Aida, Miller in Luisa Miller, Don Carl in Ernani (Verdi), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Michele in Il tabarro (Puccini), Thore in Les Huguenots (Meyerbeer), Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni) and others. He performed at the opera houses on New York, Paris, Munich, Philadelphia, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Bologna, Lyon, Turin, Trieste, Berlin, Washington, Macerata, Verona, Rome, Liege, Buenos Aires, Vilnius, Copenhagen, Genova, Toulouse, Pittsburg and others. At the Israeli Opera he performed Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), the title role in Nabucco and Germont in La traviata (Verdi).
