Claudia Gotta was born in Germany. She has been a staff director at the opera house of Mannheim as well as at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. She has directed Die Sieben Todesunden (Weill) as well as Sotskolan (Rehnqvist) and a special presentation for the 100th anniversary of the Deutsche Oper Berlin – Beautiful View: Freedom – the Truth I Bravely Dared to Say. She has also worked at the opera houses of San Sebastian, Salzburg, Montpellier, Istanbul, Beijing, Luxembourg and others.
