Laurent Naouri, baritone
Laurent Naouri, baritone, was born in France. His vast opera repertoire includes the Four Villains in Les Contes D'Hoffmann (Offenbach), Golaud in Pelleas et Melisande (Debussy), Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), the title role in Falstaff, Iago in Otello, Germont in La traviata (Verdi), Sharpless in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Pandolfe in Cendrillon (Massenet) and many others. He performs regularly at the Glyndebourne, Aix en Provance, Orange and Salzburg festivals, at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, as well as the opera houses of Vienna, Bordeaux, Barcelona, Munich, Zurich, Rome, Paris, Madrid, Glasgow, Berlin, Tokyo, Santa Fe, Lyon, Dallas and many others. He also has a vast concert repertoire which he regularly performs with most leading orchestras all over the world. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
