Gaston Rivero was born in Uruguay and resides in the USA. His repertoire includes Manrico in Il trovatore, Alfredo in La traviata, Ismaele in Nabucco, the title role in Don Carlo, Macduff in Macbeth, Rodolfo in Luisa Miller (Verdi), Cavaradossi in Tosca, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Don Jose in Carmen (Bizet), Turiddu in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Romeo in Romeo et Juliette (Gounod) and many other roles. He performs in the opera house of Berlin, Leipzig, Tokyo, Bordeaux, Geneva, Budapest, Palermo, Warsaw, Montevideo and others.
