Nuccia Focile was born in Italy. Her repertoire includes Mimi in La boheme, Liu in Turandot (Puccini), Violetta in La traviata, Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, Elisabetta in Don Carlo (Verdi), Giulietta in I Capuleti e I Montecchi (Bellini), Servilia in La clemenza di Tito, Despina in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Giulia in La scala di seta (Rossini), Norina in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), Tatiana in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), the title role in Káťa Kabanová (Janacek), Elle in La Voix Humaine (Poulenc) and others. She performs regularly at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Welsh National Opera and the opera house of Seattle, Berlin, Dallas, Strasbourg, Houston, Munich, Paris, Philadelphia, Hamburg, Palermo, Nancy, Venice, Monte Carlo, Bologna and many others.
