Zosia Dowjat was born in Poland. She graduated from the theatre academy and the Cultural Studies University in Warsaw. She was artistic coordinator and instructor at the theatre school for children and youngsters in Warsaw as well as technical supervisor with the Wooster Group in New York. Since 2001 she is the assistant of Michal Znaniecki and has collaborated with him on over 90 theatre and opera productions. She is the president of the Jutropera Foundation and coordinator of opera educational projects in Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
