Irina Vtornikova, lighting designer
Irina Vtornikova, lighting designer, was born in Russia. She graduated from the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy in 2010. She joined the Rostov Musical Theatre in 1997 and since 2011 has been the head of its technical department. She has designed lighting for many productions including La boheme (Puccini), Prima la musica, poi le parole (Salieri), Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Carmina Burana (Orff), The Tsar’s Bride (Rimsky Korsakov), Iolanta, The Sleeping Beauty (Tchaikovsky) and many other opera, theatre and ballet productions for theatres all over Russia. This is her first work for the Israeli Opera.
