    The Young Efroni Choir

    The Young Efroni Choir, currently conducted by Shelly Brelniski, was established in 1996 as a preparatory choir for the well-known Efroni Choir. Today, the choir includes 40 girls and boys ranging from the fourth to the sixth grade from Emek Hefer and surrounding areas. The Choir's repertoire includes classic works, Israeli songs, international folk-songs, as well as songs written especially for the Young Efroni Choir. 

    The Choir is regularly invited to perform with the Israeli Opera and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as well as with artists including Yoni Reichter, Shlomi Shaban, Eran Tzur, Rona Keinan, Shlomi Shabbat, Daniel Solomon, Shira Gefen, Yonatan Gefen among others. The primary purpose of the Choir is to provide the children with an artistic musical experience at a high level and to install in them a love of singing and musical achievement.  Rehearsals take place twice a week and include; voice training, learning the repertoire, solfege, movement and acting.
