Alexandra Saulskaya-Shulyatieva, mezzo-soprano was born in Russia. Her repertoire includes the title role in Carmen (Bizet), Olga in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Siebel in Faust (Gounod), the Princess in Rusalka (Dargomyzhsky), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Mistress Quickly in Falstaff (Verdi), Lel in The Snow Maiden (Rimsky-Korsakov', Ratmir in Ruslan and Ludmila (Glinka), Zita in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), Herodias in Salome (R. Strauss) and many other roles. She performs in Russia as well as in Italy, Germany, the UK, Belgium and Portugal. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
