Dmitry Orlov, bass was born in Russia. His repertoire includes the title role in Aleko (Rachmaninoff), Alidoro in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Acciano in I Lombardi alla prima crociata (Verdi), the Count in Capriccio (R. Strauss), Bertrand in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky),  Bomely and the Messenger in The Maid of Pskov (Rimsky Korsakov) and other roles. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
