Alexander Bogdanov, tenor was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Lensky in Yevgeni Onegin, Vaudémont in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Simpleton in Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), Tsar Berendey in The Snow Maiden (Rimsky-Korsakov), the Prince in Rusalka (Dargomyzhsky), Pollione in Norma (Bellini), Leicester in Maria Stuarda (Donizetti), Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles (Bizet), the Duke in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La traviata (Verdi), Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Ramiro in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Paolo in Francesca da Rimini (Rachmaninoff) and many others. He performs in Russia and abroad. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
