Irina Rubtsova was born in Russia. Her repertoire includes Zemfira in Aleko (Rahmaninov), Yaroslavna in Prince Igor (Borodin), Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, Abigaile in Nabucco, the title role in Aida (Verdi), Fata Morgana in L'amour des Trois Oranges (Prokofiev) and many other roles. She performed at the Bolshoi as well as in the opera houses of Paris, Montreal, Copenhagen, Cyprus, Macedonia, Poland and many others.
