Nina Romanova was born in Russia. Her repertoire includes Lyubasha in The Tsar’s Bride, Lel in the Snow Maiden (Rimsky Korsakov), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Aldonza in the musical Man of La Mancha (Leigh), Madame Flora in The Medium (Menotti), Eboli in Don Carlo, Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi), Marina in Boris Godunov, Marfa in Khovanshchina (Mussorgsky), Konchakovna in Prince Igor (Borodin) and many other roles. She performed in opera houses in Russia, Italy, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Japan, Great Britain, the USA and other countries.
