Buribayev Alan, conductor
Alan Buribayev was born in Kazakhstan. He is the chief conductor of the RTE Orchestra in Dublin and the chief conductor of the Brabants Orchestra in the Netherlands. He works regularly with numerous international orchestras including the Oslo Philharmonic, NDR Hamburg, Trondheim Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Stuttgart Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Dresden Philharmonic, Leipzig Gewandhaus, City of Birmingham Symphony and Gothenburg Symphony as well as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Scottish Symphony and many others. He conducted Pique Dam (Tchaikovsky) in Lyon, L'amour des Trois Oranges (Prokofiev) at the Bolshoi as well as Idomeneo (Mozart), Jenufa (Janacek), Salome (R. Strauss) and others.
