Aurelia Florian, soprano, was born in Romania. Her repertoire includes the title role in Parisina and in Gemmy di Vergy (Donizetti), Amelia in I Masnadieri, Desdemona in Otello, Leonora in Il trovatore, Leonora in La forza del destino, Elisabetta in Don Carlo (Verdi), Mimi in La boheme, the title role in Tosca (Puccini), Nedda in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Roksane in Krol Roger (Szymanowski) and others. She performs in the opera houses of Munich, Parma, Zurich, Berlin, Oslo, San Francisco, Essen, Tokyo, Graz, Koln and others. At the Israeli Opera she performed Violetta in La traviata, the title role in Luisa Miller, Amelia in Simon Boccanegra (Verdi), Marguerite in Faust, Juliette in Romeo et Juliette (Gounod) and others.
