Vitaliy Bilyy was born in the Ukraine. His repertoire includes Germont in La traviata, Ezio in Attila, Di Luna in Il trovatore, the title role in Nabucco (Verdi), Robert and Ibn Hakia in Iolanta, the title role in Yevgeni Onegin, Lionel in The Maid of Orleans (Tchaikovsky), Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Zurga in Les Pecheurs de Perles, Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Denisov in War and Peace (Prokofiev), Marcello in La boheme (Puccini), Riccardo in I Puritani (Bellini) and many other roles. He performs at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg and the opera houses of Kiev, Odessa, Moscow, Chile, Genova, Naples, Padova, Venice, Tolouse and many others.
