    Askar Abdrazakov was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Gremin in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Konchak in Prince Igor (Borodin), Ruslan in Ruslan and Ludmila (Glinka), the title role in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Ramphis in Aida, Zaccaria in Nabucco, Filippo II and the Grand Inquisitor in Don Carlo, the title role in Attila (Verdi), the title role in Mefistofele (Boito), Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) and many others. He performs regularly at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Bolshoi in Moscow, the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg, Paris, Brussels, London, Rome, Seville, Berlin, Arena di Verona, Trieste, Bologna, Tokyo, Barcelona, Washington, Buenos Aires, Madrid and many others.
