Merav Barnea, soprano, was born in Israel. Her reprtoire includes Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (Verdi), Elisabeth in Tannhauser (Wagner), the title role in Tosca (Puccini), Leonore in Fidelio (Beethoven), Marie in Wozzeck (Berg), Nedda in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Agathe in Der Freischütz (Weber) and other roles. She was a memebr of the Ulm opera house and has also performed in opera houses in Germany and France.
