Maria Riccarda Wesseling (Marie) mezzo soprano, was born in Switzerland. Her repertoire includes the title role in Iphigenie en Tauride (Gluck), Phaedra (Henze), Bianca in Eine florentinische tragodie (Zemlinsky), Pelerin in L'amour de loin (Saariaho), the title role in Carmen (Bizet), Irma in Le Balcon (Eotvos) and many other roles. She performs regularly in the opera houses of Paris, Berlin, London, Brussels, Lyon, Helsinki, Geneva, Bilbao, Amsterdam and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
