Vivian Tierney (Mrs. Grouse) soprano, was born in the United Kingdom. Her repertoire includes Marie in Wozzeck (Berg), Salome and Herodias in Salome (R. Strauss), Miss Wingrave in Owen Wingrave (Britten), Regan in Lear (Reimann), the title role in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Shostakovich), Gutrune in Gotterdammerung (Wagner), Jitka in Dalibor (Smetana), the Whore in Dorian Grey (Liebermann), Marietta in Die Tote Stadt (Korngold), Renata in The Fiery Angel (Prokofiev) and many others. She performs regularly in the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Santiago di Chile, ENO, Opera North, Munich, Glyndebourne and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
