Elena Mosuc was born in Romania. Her wide repertoire includes the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflote, Konstanze in Die Entfhurung aus dem Serail, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Mozart), the title role Lucia di Lammermoor and in Linda di Chamounix (Donizetti), Elvira in I Puritani, the title role in Norma, Amina in La Sonnambula (Bellini), Gilda in Rigoletto, the title role in La traviata and Luisa Miller (Verdi), Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, Aminta/Timidia in Die schweigsame Frau (R. Strauss), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta in Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach), Mimi and Musetta in La boheme (Puccini) and many others. She performs regularly in La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Zurich, Munich, Dresden, Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Turin, Brussels, Dallas, Venice, Geneva, Tokyo and China.
