Denni Sayers, choreographer, was born in Great Britain. Her numerous opera credits include Cyrano de Bergerac (Alfano)‚ Carmen (Bizet) and Paul Bunyan (Britten) at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden‚ Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky) and Parsifal (Wagner) at the ENO‚ Peter Grimes (Britten) in Amsterdam‚ War and Peace (Prokofiev) at the Bastille in Paris, Porgy and Bess (Gershwin) in Washington, Der fliegende Holländer (Wagner) in San Francisco‚ Lohengrin (Wagner) and Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) in Baden Baden, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (Wagner) in Zurich‚ Boulevard Solitude (Henze) in Geneva‚ Fidelio (Beethoven) in Salzburg and Lyon‚ Rigoletto (Verdi) in Dresden, Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss) and Don Carlo (Verdi) at WNO, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten) in Houston, and many others.
