Semishkur Sergey, tenor
Sergey Semishkur was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Rodolfo in La boheme, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Lensky in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Steva in Jenufa (Janacek), Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Enee in Les Troyens (Berlioz), Faust in Mephistopheles (Boito), Dmitry in Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), Young Gypsy in Aleko (Rachmaninov), the Nose in the Nose (Shostakovich), Vaudemont in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Froh in Dan Rheingold (Wagner) and many other roles. He is a regular soloist at the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg and also performs in the opera houses of Warsaw, Washington, Cardiff, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Stockholm, Savonlinna, Edinburgh, Tokyo, Zurich, Rotterdam, Rome, Frankfurt and many others.
