Tara Venditti was born in the USA. Her repertoire includes the title role in Tamerlano (Handel), the title role and Frasquita in Carmen (Bizet), Indiana Elliot in The Mother of Us All (Thompson), Mother Marie in Les Dialogues des Carmelites (Poulenc), Suzuki in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Flosshilde and Schwertleite in Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner), Hansel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Lola in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini),  Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi), Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck), Olga in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many others. She performs at La Scala, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Holland Park London and the opera houses of Mainz, New York City Opera, Venezuela, Kentucky Opera, Philadelphia, Santa Fe, Nuremberg, Beijing and others.
