Jean-François Borras was born in France. His repertoire includes Alfredo in La traviata, the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), the title role in Werther (Massenet), in Faust (Gounod), Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Rodolfo in La boheme, Pang in Turandot (Puccini), Camille de Rossillon in Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Gerald in Lakme (Delibes), Roméo in Roméo et Juliette (Gounod), Des Grieux in Manon (Massenet) and many others. He performs regularly at the opera houses of Nice, Marseilles, Bordeaux, the Chorégies d´Orange Festival, Perpignan, Athens, Essen, Graz, Bari, Ascoli and others.
