Shai Bonder, video projections designer, was born in Israel. He is one of the founders and owners of Merlin, a company that aims at combining new stage technologies with video design. Among the many projects for which he designed video projections are the musicals Shrek and Beauty and the Beast, the play Turkish Gold at the Cameri Theatre, performances of Hanoch Rosen and Idan Reichel as well as many television shows and outdoor ceremonies and events like the opening of the Tel Aviv Centennial. He has designed many video projections for the Israeli Opera, including The Child Dreams (Shohat), Alice in Wonderland (Sebba) and Nabucco in Masada (Verdi).
