Naldi Daniele, lighting designer
was born in Italy. He began his career at the lighting department of the Bologna opera house. Among the many opera productions he designed lighting for in the opera houses of Italy and around the world are L'Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), The Macropolus Case (Janacek), Pelleas e Melisande (Debussy), Simon Boccanegra, Aida, Macbeth (Verdi), I Puritani (Bellini), Tristan und Isolde (Wagner), The Rake's Progress (Stravinsky), Carmen (Bizet), La Cenerentola, Il Turoco in Italia (Rossini), Maria Stuarda, Anna Bolena (Donizetti), Samson et Dalila (Saint-Saens) and many others. This is his first work for the Israeli Opera.
