Stefan Pop was born in Romania. His repertoire includes Alfredo in La traviata, the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Nemorino in L'elisir da'more (Donizetti), Rodolfo in La boheme (Puccini), the Italian Singer in Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Elvino in La sonnambula (Bellini), the title role in Faust (Gounod), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart) and other roles. He performs at the Vienna Staatsoper, the Salzburg Festival and at the opera houses of Paris, Hamburg, Valencia, Moscow, Frankfurt, Monte Carlo, Naples, Seoul, Marseille, Zurich, Palermo, Athens and others.
